Brooklyn 45 recently celebrated BELA’s own Young Academic Achiever – Jael Delves! Jael joined BELA this year as a freshman and she is already making a mark in her classroom and in the BELA community. Jael spoke with Alonta Wrighton about her favorite classes (Ethnic Studies and STEAM), the positive challenge that Algebra presents, and the many things that make BELA special including our emphasis on the four core values and our BELA teachers who so clearly love what they do. Jael is also happy to be back in a classroom after a year of remote learning. We’re right there with you, Jael!
